Dirk Schmidt
Biography
Dirk Schmidt is an artist, designer and animator based in Munich, Germany. He started drawing at an early age and won his first art prize in primary school. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in 2005. Since then he has been working as a professional illustrator and designer. He created thousands of illustrations for magazines, book covers and newspapers, such as Süddeutsche Zeitung, Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Le Monde. Dirk also illustrates Axel Hacke`s weekly column for Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazine.
